Having closed in the late 1990s, the Woodcock re-opened as a hotel and restaurant in November 2005. The building only became a pub in the mid 1980s and was originally called the Lincoln Imp, soon changing its name to the Woodcock. Today it is a rather basic bar with a pool table and a television for sport. The bar will close early if there is no custom. The handpumps on the bar are rarely (if ever used).
