254 room hotel which opened in June 1978 and is now part of the Travelodge Group. Previous names have been the Ramada, Gatwick Penta, the Gatwick Park and the Renaissance. The main bar is to be found just at the back of reception, but sells no real ale. It is a vast open area decorated in modern style bright lights and a wooden floor. There is a restaurant area to the back. This hotel is known as the Central Gatwick Airport branch as there is another nearby at Lowfield Heath.
