This listed pub has a single main room with a central bar and tables set up for eating and drinking. One end has an inglenook fireplace and a small snug area, the other end has a raised section with additional seating. There are four TVs including one in the smoking area and Sky or BT Sports is often on. There is a roofed smoking area to the side which also has a built-in barbecue. This was once the local of great train robber Ronnie Biggs and the pub contains some memorabilia of the robbery. Thai food is served 12-3 and 5:30-10 except on Monday and is also available to take away. There are weekly poker nights and occasional live music. Dogs are welcome and free WiFi is available. As well as their own car park, parking is free in the evening at the car park opposite.
