Opened in the 1980s as the Lincoln Imp, this soon became a local favourite. There was a small well beamed bar with a stone flagged floor to the left of the building, which also featured an inglenook fireplace. An unusual touch was the use of old milk churns as seats. The 18th building also housed an excellent restaurant. The pub was renamed the Woodcock and very sadly closed in the late 1980s. Last Updated: 31 Aug 2008
