The 19^th hole of the golf club was run by the team who had owned the nearby award winning Royal Oak at Rusper (also closed). Visitors were very welcome to pop in for a drink. As well as the main golfers bar there was a smaller snug which was more pub-like. Surrey Hills Ranmore was always sold along with a couple of guest beers. Both bars had wood-burning stoves in them. There was a very large and comfortable conservatory coming off the bar and in this there was a movable skittle alley and a dartboard. Outside were attractive grounds where there could be found a boule piste. The golf club closed in September 2020 with the land returning to farm use.
