Built as a country house in the 1880s, this large hotel is owned by Britannia Hotels and is popular with holiday-makers flying from Gatwick. The light and airy wood panelled Garden Lounge Bar serves nothing but keg and bottled beers. Snack food is served from 3-10 each day with main meals from 6-10. A TV over the bar shows news. Opposite the bar is Ruspers Restaurant which serves main meals including a carvery. Last orders for drinks are 10:30.
